It involves inserting and manipulating filiform needles into certain points of the body for therapeutic purposes. Acupuncture needles are very thin (see the picture below). It is very safe with minimal side-effects.

Chinese herbal medicine is a major modality in Traditional Chinese medicine and, like acupuncture, has been used in China for thousands of years. It uses a wide variety of herbs and minerals in different formulas to treat imbalances, infections, and other ailments of the body.

Cupping Therapy |
Cupping therapy is a form of therapy in Traditional Chinese Medicine in which local suction is applied to the skin to promote blood circulation, clear toxins, reduce inflammation, and alleviate pain.

Thermal Therapy |
Traditionally, moxa, a cone or cylinder prepared from the dried leaves of an Asian plant related to mugwort, is used as the thermal source for this therapy because of its therapeutic property and the heat it produces when ignited. However, in our clinic, we use infrared thermal lamps instead of moxa as the thermal source because moxa produces a heavy smoke, which we do not want to permeate the walls and enter other offices in the building.
