What does Cupping Therapy Treat?
In our clinic, we use cupping therapy as a adjunct therapy for muscular pain and skin conditions such as boils and eczema.
The Use of Cupping Requires Caution
As viewers saw the 2016 Olympic athletes like swimmer Michael Phelps showing their marks from cupping therapy, all of sudden cupping therapy became known to almost everybody. Some people actually purchased cupping sets and began doing cupping therapy on their own. It is important to note that cupping should be done only by someone fully trained in the art and that cupping is entirely unsuitable for some people, especially those who are extremely weak, have a bleeding disorder or those with fragile skin.
